Strategic Plan:

1.      To organize regional conferences/Seminars/workshops to promote health benefits of fermented foods to local people.

2.      To promote inter institutional collaborative research projects on fermented foods and probiotics.

3.      To promote and popularize the quality scientific research on fermented foods under the aegies of Internal Journal of Fermented Foods.

4.      To help in formation of companies interested in manufacturing of fermented foods and probiotics.

5.      To provide R&D support for the development of new generation fermented foods.
